Kirk J. Porteous, Vice President Managing Partner for Drive Technology Management, has over 12 years experience as a telecom executive and almost 22 years of total telecom industry experience. Overall, Kirk brings 23 years of business management, marketing, strategic planning and client service background to Drive.
Prior to joining Drive Technology Management, Kirk served as Vice President, Client Services in a boutique business operations and strategy consulting firm, was the Director of Product Development for three years at EMBARQ Corporation and served in various executive and management roles for Sprint Corporation including a role as Interim Vice President, Corporate Strategy. Kirk began his career at United Telephone Company of Indiana in 1987 as part of a management training program.
Kirk received a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in Radio and Television, and a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Kirk has served on the Board of Directors for Whitefield Academy, a Classical Christian School in Kansas City, MO, and currently serves as Chairman. Kirk and his family are members of Shawnee Bible Church where Kirk has served as Chairman of the Deacon Board and currently teaches Junior High Sunday School.
