Are PreConstruction Services Valuable?

Abstract Building

Are they valuable? Are they worth it? The bottom line is that PreConstruction services save time and money. We've all heard the old adage, “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” This is especially true in the construction industry.

PreConstruction services help every project steer clear of costly and time-wasting problems. Harmon has performed PreConstruction services and feasibility studies for hundreds of clients and have had more than positive outcomes. For a nominal investment, Harmon will assist in the schematic design that includes master planning, site planning, floor plans and exterior elevations. We will also provide a detailed probable cost estimate to determine the feasibility of your project.

Harmon offers other PreConstruction services that can help move your project forward including:
• Site Analysis and Evaluation
• Budget Estimating and Cost Models
• Value Engineering/Cost Savings
• Project Scheduling/Fast Track Evaluation
• Subcontractor Qualification Program
• Bid Packaging
• Final Budget
• Permit/Code Compliance Support

At Harmon, we are committed to keeping your project within your budget without compromising quality and workmanship. It is our belief that an investment in PreConstruction services yields a great return.

I was wondering if Harmontakes any bids on the jobs they work on for things such as batteries or light bulbs. If so, what is the process on bidding.

Justin,

Not typically - most anything with a battery on the job is related to Mechanical Plumbing or Electrical. All light bulbs are supplied through our electricians contract on a project. However, I will keep it/you in mind if something like that should come up.

Thanks for your interest!
Tony
